Our Story

The Hisar School Writing Center is a resource for all Hisar School high school and

middle school students. We provide guidance for each stage of writing and in all

forms, whether it is academic, creative, or real-world writing. Hisar Writing Center

is staffed by 26 student writing coaches and overseen by its two educators,

Jeffrey Gibbs and Stephen Freer. The student staff has been trained for a

half-semester to become writing consultants. The main goal of the Hisar Writing

Center is to increase engagement with writing among Hisar students while

helping them to develop their own ideas.
